... Our framework to help this work

Terms and Conditions

Applicable to Online and In-person sessions

Initial Consultation and Assessment

No hypnosis usually takes place during our initial consultation. This is a very important session, giving you information that will be extremely helpful to kick start your therapy. The initial consultation session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. I would hope to get an understanding of why you are coming to see me, what you feel you need from the process and what you would like to get out of it.

I will usually then explain a bit about how the brain works. We will also talk through our agreement to work together, which will include what happens in sessions, safeguarding, payment, confidentiality and the cancellation policy.

Your Commitment

Hypnotherapy & Mindfulness sessions are a joint effort rather than a magic wand. It is very important to understand that a commitment and determination to make positive change is required on your part, in order to maximise the success of any treatment program. Mindfulness, Hypnotherapy, Hypnosis can all be enormously powerful and work best as a collaborative effort.

Results may vary depending on the individual. In Hypnotherapy, listening to the relaxation CD/MP3 between sessions is recommended for optimum effectiveness.

It is important that you arrive on time for your sessions. If your session needs to be curtailed due to your late arrival then the session fee remains payable in full.

Medical Conditions

As with all complementary therapies, you should seek advice from your GP if you feel you have a medical condition. If at any point during our sessions I feel that seeking medical advice would be helpful for you, I will recommend it and document this.

Coronavirus - Covid-19

Until advised by my regulatory association CNHC that it is safe to resume sessions in person, all sessions are being undertaken online. This policy will be updated regularly.
